Summary

In Chapter 9, Stevie and Susan carol find the list of players' room numbers in Jerry Ventura's room. They realize Chip doesn't have a roommate. While they're still in the room, the maid tries to come in, which startles them. Stevie and Susan Carol go down to the front desk to get a copy of the keycard and a replacement card for Jerry Ventura so he doesn't know they have a copy of his room key to access the players' floors. When they get to Chip's floor they are stopped by a security guard, but Stevie says he's Chip's cousin. When the guard takes them to Chip, Stevie and Susan Carol give Chip hints in front of the guard to let them know they overheard his conversation yesterday with Whiting, so Chip confirms Stevie is his cousin. Chip tells them he doesn't know what they thought...
