Summary

In Chapter 48, Larsen attended Winter’s press conference to name Rakel’s killer. The reporters gasped and groaned when Winter announced that Harry was dead, and that it was suspected he had killed Rakel.

On a bus ride to Oslo, Harry watched the press conference playing on the phone of the passenger in front of him. He pulled his hat down over his face when his picture was displayed. Harry decided that once he arrived in Oslo he needed to find a phone so he could make phone calls. In order to use the payphone at Central Station, Harry stole change from a homeless man by threatening him with a pistol.
