Gwen Proctor aka Gina Royal

Gwen Proctor is the heroine and one of the main characters of the novel. She is actively hunting for her ex-husband, Melvin Royal, who turned out to be a serial killer. Melvin escaped from jail, where he was on death row, and has begun threatening Gwen and her children again.

The name Gwen Proctor is actually an alias that Gina Royal took on after she began trying to hide from her ex-husband and the people he hired to torture her. Gwen has reshaped her personality from the submissive, naive woman she was as Gina to a capable woman able to take care of and protect herself and her children from her ex-husband and the tech-savvy trolls hunting them.
