Chapters 11 and 12 Summary

In Chapter 11, Colie watches Morgan and Isabel get ready to go out. Then, the two girls turn to Colie, putting on makeup and fixing her hair—giving her the makeover she needs for a girls' night out. It's the Fourth of July, so the big night out in Colby is at the beach to watch the fireworks. Isabel sends Colie to the car for anther six-pack of beer and a boy named Josh accidentally collides with Colie. Norman calls Colie over to the group he's sitting with and asks her to sit for a portrait for his series. Josh keeps motioning for Colie to come over to where his group of friends are. As Colie is about to g, she sees Caroline Dawes tap Josh on the shoulder and tell him something. Isabel urges Colie to go anyway—to stand up for herself...
