Section 9: Chapter 15 Summary

After the ceremony, Trewyn and Juniper play with their new magical skills, and they also realize that their sense of smell has changed, allowing them to smell individual's personality traits. Early in the summer, Juniper and Euny leave Angharad and Trewyn to return to Euny's hut, and when she notes that she is supposed to return to her parents in three months, Euny claims they have much to do. Juniper is lonely in Euny's hut, so she is excited when Gamal and Finbar visit to share gossip from Castle Dore. Gamal suggests spending the night so he can spend more time with Juniper the next day, but Euny reacts inhospitably, irritating Juniper who decides she will sneak off anyway.
