Summary

In Chapter 35, Emil remains captive to Luna. Eventually the Blood Casters load him in a van and take him to the museum. He realizes the Blood Casters are trying to seize Gravesend's egg. Inside everything happens fast. The Blood Casters attack the Halo Knights guarding the egg. Emil is shocked to learn Kirk is on Luna's side. He tries telling him Luna will use the egg to gain immortality. When Kirk nearly kills Emil, Ness rushes to his aid, guiding him to safety. The Spell Walkers arrive.

In Chapter 36, Maribelle and June battle. Maribelle is determined to kill her in order to avenge her parents' murder and save Atlas from her powers. When Maribelle aims her wand at June, June strikes first, hitting and killing Atlas.

In Chapter 37, Maribelle blames herself for Atlas's death. The fight continues around her. Ness steals the egg...
