Incarceron

Incarceron is the living prison seen in the story. The prison's entrance is looked for most of the story but it is discovered that an entrance does not exist. The prison uses technology that has shrunk it down to a microscopic level. Because of the energy it takes to transfer a person out of Incarceron, there is no way to remove all of the prisoners. The Warden admits that the prison is intelligent but cannot be controlled. He states that the prison laughs at him. Incarceron is eventually revealed as a small square linked to the end of a watch that the Warden of Incarceron carries.
