Underground, The Stars are Legends; Chapter 12-14 Summary

In Chapter 12, the Prison begins to unlock everything. They find themselves in a forest of metal trees. Finn asks Keiro what Jormanric had meant when talking about Maestra's death but Keiro tells him that Jormanric would have said any lie at that point since he had been defeated. Finn feeds the dog-slave and Keiro says to dump it. Gildas points out that the slave saved his life but Keiro denies this vehemently. The slave hands Keiro his pack that he had dropped while fighting Jormanric and Keiro kicks at the slave and a girl's voice tells him he should be thankful she brought it. The slave explains how she made herself up to look like she was inhuman in order to stay alive and proclaims herself Finn's slave for saving her...
