Chapter 20 Summary

Eve cannot let go of the case. According to her supervisors, Jerry is guilty of murder and drugs make it more plausible. The public eats it up. Eve refuses to believe it. Roarke is fascinated with her ability to continue to focus and stick with a case even after it is officially closed. He appeases her by listening to her as she reviews the case yet again.
