Chapter 18 Summary

Eve finally has her three primary suspects at the police station undergoing simultaneous interrogation. She assigns Jake Casto to interrogate Redford, Peabody to question Jerry Fitzgerald, and Eve chooses to work on Justin. Three hours into the interview process, Eve manages to get Justin to admit that the alibi he and Jerry gave is weak, that they both know the security code to the back entrance of his apartment building. In Eve's mind this makes it possible for one or both of them to have slipped out, undetected, and kill Pandora. Finally, Justin agrees to give testimony against Paul Redford if they agree to cut him a deal. Justin hates Paul because it was Paul who introduced Jerry to Immortality in the form of a health drink.
