Peabody accompanies Eve to Boomer's flophouse to see if any evidence or reason for his murder can be found. Eve has to get through three state-of-the-art locks in order to gain access to his room, which resembles a filthy hovel. The room is dirty, hot because the single window is locked, and food take-out boxes, dirty laundry, sheets, and towels strewn all over.
