Chapter 3, Have you Ever Been Experienced? Summary and Analysis

Pamela befriends Sparky, a girl who went to her junior and high school, although they never knew each other then. Sparky and Pam befriend another girl named Lucy at one of their friend Vito's strange parties. Pam meets a photographer, Allen Daviau, who takes free pictures of her for her acting portfolio. He invites her to dance in a film with the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Jimi Hendrix makes a pass at her as she enters, but she passes up the offer. Her eye is on Noel Redding, who backs Jimi up on bass. Impressed with her virginity, Redding wants to be Pam's "first". He leaves for his tour back to London and writes to her from there. For the first time, she's "with the band".
