Summary

Chapter 6 takes place on Saturday night with Anna giving Amanda a ride to the party. Amanda is greeted with hugs and feels like she has gotten more hugs in the past week than in her life. Chloe thanks Amanda for not telling anyone about her relationship with Bee. Parker approaches Amanda in the kitchen and gets her a beer. Grant approaches. They end up dancing and it is the first time Amanda has danced with a boy. Afterwards, Anna and Layla come find Amanda. With Grant and Parker talking to each other, Amanda asks the girls about a picture of a boy names Tommy. Parker interjects that the boy in the photo is "Grant's little gay boyfriend" (58). Grant gets angry and tells Parker to shut up.
