Chapters 25-27 Summary

In Chapter 25, Lucy realizes that this is the first time in a long time that she's woken up without thinking about Connor's kiss. Instead, she is thinking about Emma and Amy and how nice they were to her the night before. Lucy is thinking that she is actually excited to eat breakfast with her family, but when she gets into the kitchen, she sees Mara, the twins and their dad talking about the party. When Mara addresses Lucy, Lucy says that she thinks they should go easy on the twins because they had a rough night. But Mara says that she wants to know Lucy's part in the twins' actions, stating that the twins said that Lucy knew they were at the party and picked them up afterwards.
