Summary

Chapter 2 is titled “It's All Good.” Nathaniel tries to assure Freya that he is fine. He is happy with the sound of the voice talking to him. He cannot tell her his name, but she retrieves information from his wallet. He touches blood on Freya's face and is thrilled that she does not draw back. Freya is actually touched all the time by people invested in her career, but no one has touched her in kindness in a long time. She calls out to Harun for help. Nathaniel knows that people who ask if he is alright are not interested in the truth but are looking for his assurance that he is alright. He repeats several times that “It's all good” (50).
