Chapters 17 and 18 Summary

The next day John wakes to find Henri in the kitchen still researching the issue of "They Walk Among Us." He has located a personal website, and sent an email regarding the article about the Mogadorians. Henri believes extra exercise will help the development of his Legacy so John runs to school with Bernie Kosar, sending him home once he gets there. Sam is already in Astronomy class and they share a laugh about the previous day. Sarah arrives, and asks John if he and Henri will join her and her family for Thanksgiving the following day. John accepts for them both. Henri is waiting for John as usual after school and tells him the pamphlets came from Athens, Ohio. He calls them, but is told not to call there again and hung up on.
