Summary

The title page of Chapter 8 includes a program with the seal of Holy Name Central Catholic High School and the year 1995. Underneath the program is a handwritten letter in cursive, presumably from Jarrett’s father though not stated explicitly. The letter is filled with regret, including, “I see now if I could go back and undo it I would - but of course I can’t” (254).
