Summary

In Chapter 21, Chelsea’s abductor was enraged when he realized that she had escaped. Using a flashlight, he was able to find Chelsea’s footprints leading away from the container. He yelled out that she would be sorry if he had to hunt her down. Sensing she was still nearby, he ran to locate her.

In Chapter 22, the next morning, Lance noticed the dark circles under Morgan’s eyes. She explained that Sophie had a night terror and had woken everyone up. Lance noted that Sophie was a highly emotional child, one reason why she held such a strong grudge against him for taking some of Morgan’s time away from her.
