Summary

In Chapter 1, an unidentified man dug a grave. He believed that even though he had unintentionally killed the woman he was burying that he had been careful and would not get caught. It was not the first body he had buried. After he finished, he left his mistake behind and went in search of a replacement.

In Chapter 2, Morgan Dane and Lance Kruger, private investigators with Sharp Investigations, were delivering legal papers to Tyler Green, a dead beat who owed thousands in child support. Even though Tyler was violent, Morgan knocked on the door because she feared that Tyler would not open the door for Lance, who was big and muscular.
