Summary

Chapter 46: Catherine enters the pumpkin patch and sees an enormous three-clawed footprint. She whispers to Mary Ann who tells her that Peter put her in the pumpkin. She says that Peter has the Jabberwock and that the Jabberwock is Peter’s wife. Mary Ann says she came to the pumpkin patch hoping to find evidence to take to the King. She hoped to be the hero, but Peter caught her and plans to feed her to the Jabberwock. Catherine tells her to take the bonnet the Hatter made off. Catherine walks toward a shed to find something to get Mary Ann out of the pumpkin. She realizes the pumpkins are talking to her, telling her to run away. They tell her that Peter blames them, but it was the pumpkins from the Looking Glass that caused the problem. As she runs toward the...
