Part 4, Second Half (Carl, Virginia, Saul, Carl Virginia) Summary

Carl prepares for a meeting with the other faction leaders and accidentally accesses JonVon as the biocomputer is in the middle of composing poetry. Andy Carroll comes in to announce that the Arcists have once again gone on strike, most likely because Sergeov stole some more of their food. He also suggests to Carl that Malcolm is intentionally stalling the Nudge program, and that the Nudge pods are in reality nowhere near ready to be used. Carl thinks Quiverian is to blame for the delays.

Virginia realizes that JonVon has been acting strangely in the time she was slotted. She arrives at Hydroponics to see what she can do in the way of automating the processes used to make food. She arrives to find the statue of Cruz destroyed...
