Harry was again the bridge between Ron and Hermione. Even talking to the two individually was difficult: Almost everywhere Ron went, Lavender went; the only place Harry could properly talk to Hermione was in the library in the evenings. One evening, Hermione warned him to be careful, because she had overheard girls in the bathroom talking about how to slip him a love potion.
