Chapter 46 –Dancer is among those freed during the rescue. He is very happy to see Darrow. Darrow is thrilled to see him. He reveals that Darrow’s family is alive and well, though still in the mines. Dancer isn’t bothered at all by the fact that Fitchner is a Gold, because Dancer has truly come to see past all Colors. Fitchner explains that while he was overseeing a construction project that ended in disaster, he fell in love with a Red girl named Bryn. Bryn had her fallopian tubes modified to conceive a child –Sevro. Bryn was found out, and killed at the tender age of 22. As a result, Fitchner began the Sons.
