Glaxo

Glaxo is a small town on the outskirts of Buenos Aires known only by its proximity to the nearby Glaxo factory. The small nature of the town reflects the lack of prospects of its residents, particularly Vardemann who feels stymied in his life there. The lack of interest or prospects in the small town fuels Folcada’s resentment at being forced to live there after being involved in a police massacre, contributing to his violent impulses towards other residents of the town.

Buenos Aires is the nearest big city to Glaxo. Miranda is from Buenos Aires originally and Miguelito visits the city as part of his job.
