Chapter 4 Summary
Min accuses Russel of liking Kevin Land as the put their bikes in his Mom's Honda. Min explains how Terese and she met at Girl Scout Camp, but it was just an infatuation at first. Then, for the last three years they started meeting in an abandoned building to have sex. Russel admits that he does like Kevin.
On the way to third period, Russel overhears the health teach, the principal and the Reverend talking about how she showed her classes how to put on a condom using a cucumber. When the principal gets up to close the door, he sees Russel.
When all of them meet at the lunch table, it's awkward. It's as if they all realize that they can't really be seen together in school without people questioning what's going on. When Gunnar walks up to the table to sit with Min and Russel like he does...
