Chapter 17: By All That's Holy

The place that Iggy takes Ken and Max to is an old lady's apartment. Iggy, knowing that the old lady is out of town, broke into it. It will be a temporary place for them to stay. Ken warns Max not to try to run away. To make sure he does not, Ken ties Max's hands and feet in a rope that is linked to Ken's waist. Ken is exhausted and sleeps for a short while on the floor next to Max's chair. When he awakes, he tells Max that they need to have a man to man talk. He picks up the old lady's Bible and swears on it that he never killed Max's mother. He tells Max that a great injustice was done to him and that he suffered for years locked up for...
