Supernatural

This novel is about a wizard who knows about things most modern people no longer believe in. Dresden is a wizard who is one of the most powerful in the modern world. He has knowledge of the Nevernever, the place where supernatural creatures live and flourish, of the white counsel that governs the use of magic, and of the demons who often interfere in the lives of modern humans.

In this novel, Dresden is drawn into the investigation of multiple murders that take place around the full moon and appear to be done by some sort of animal. Dresden was of the opinion that werewolves no longer existed in North America, so he knows little about them. His friend, the spirit Bob, tells him about werewolves, and Dresden quickly finds himself coming into contact with a sample of each type as the novel progresses.
