Ocean Wonders, Present Day

The aquarium, Ocean Wonders, is a house in which the rooms are filled with water, and many aquatic exhibits live inside. Customers wander through the hallways and watch the animals. The aquarium serves as Fish Girl's home in the novel. It is significant because it is the setting at which the majority of the novel takes place.

Neptune's Office, Present Day

Neptune's office is where Neptune does all of his paperwork at the end of each day. Fish Girl has always been curious to see what is inside, but until now she has never dared leave her tank. This setting is important because it is where Fish Girl discovers the photo album that reveals the true nature of Fish Girl's origin.
