Summary

This section details the events transpiring throughout the fourth and fifth days of the narrative. Pages 64 – 91 detail the events of the fourth day. As the sun rises, Fish Girl feels different because of the discoveries she made the night before. While Neptune is teaching some children about the intelligence of stingrays, Fish Girl realizes that her tail is still aching from her escapade outside the water tank. She swims around the aquarium doing her job and collecting shells for Livia. After the customers leave, Neptune congratulates Fish Girl on a job well done, and he rewards her with a story.
