Chapters 21-26 Summary

In Chapter 21, Ana wakes the following morning and finds herself alone. She goes out to the kitchen and is surprised to find Christian's housekeeper there. Ana then goes in search of Christian and finds him in his study. They talk for a moment and make love on the desk. Afterwards, they have a discussion that leaves Ana feeling hurt and confused. At breakfast, however, the old Christian is back. Later that day, Ana has her interviews and feels they both went well. At home, Ana has words with Kate about Christian. Kate has come to the conclusion that Christian is odd and he will hurt Ana. Ana ignores her, however. Ana then leaves for the airport to catch her flight to Georgia. When she arrives, she is surprised to learn that Christian has had the ticket upgraded to first class.
