Gandalf is a great wizard, well known and respected throughout Middle Earth for his good magic and strong character. Gandalf is a dignified figure with long grey hair and beard, a pointed magician's hat, and strong magical powers. Gandalf is old, wise, and much loved by many. The wizard is known as Gandalf the Wise to some, including Frodo and Bilbo and is also known as Gandalf the Grey to those in his "Order" of wizards. Gandalf has many friends, but he has a particular fondness for Hobbits and is one of the few wizards who find them worthy of intense interest and study. Gandalf is considered an expert on their ways. Gandalf is also well respected and known by the Elves of all races, Dwarves, and men and is feared.....
