Book 2: Chapter 8 Summary

That night the Company is summoned to the Lord and Lady and Celeborn tells them they must make a choice to continue on with Frodo or stay with them until they can return to their own land. None choose to abandon Frodo, but Boromir, though, tells them that he is on his way home to Gondor. The Company tells them that they have not decided if they are going west to Gondor with Boromir or if they will head east. Celeborn offers them boats to use, to speed their journey until they decide which way they will be going.

The group prepares to leave the next morning, the Elves give the Fellowship three small, light boats, many provisions, and cloaks with hoods made of Elven material, which changes in whatever environment it.....
