Chapters 1-3 Summary

"Favorite" is a Young Adult mystery/suspense novel by Karen McQuestion. The novel is narrated by 16-year-old Angie Favorite and follows events as she recovers from being attacked by a stranger in a strip mall parking lot. After the stranger who attacked her takes his own life while in jail the young man's mother contacts Angie, supposedly to try and make amends for what her son did. Soon, however, Angie realizes that things are not as they seem and begins to suspect that the attack on her is somehow related to her own mother's disappearance five years before.
