Summary

Chapter 15 – When Hermione, accompanied by Polly and her mother, gets confirmation of a pregnancy, she announces that she intends to have an abortion, because she did not want this pregnancy, it is the product of an act of violence, and she does not want her life to be derailed because of a circumstance over which she had no control. After the obstetrician she is seeing gives her the information she needs (i.e. how and where to get the procedure done), Hermione asks Polly to walk home with her, and her mother leaves to go make lunch. Hermione and Polly then walk through the nearby cemetery, where Hermione goes to the grave of Clara Abbey.
