Chapters 12-15 Summary

Alice tells Bella that she wants to throw a graduation party for her. The realization that graduation is only a week away leaves Bella suddenly unsure of her decision to transform into a vampire. Edward and Bella talk about it and Edward assures Bella that he is willing to wait as long as she wants. Edward also stresses that Bella must agree to marry him before he will allow her to be transformed. At home, Bella reads an article about the escalating killing spree in Seattle. When Bella questions Edward about it, he tells her that they think it is the product of a growing group of newborn vampires.
