Jack Reacher

Reacher is a large man. At six foot five inches tall, he is built on the heavy side, weighing in at about two hundred and fifty pounds. He travels alone, with little more than a toothbrush and a wad of cash. Scruffy looking, and unshaven more often than not, Jack's hair is usually a mess as well, making him look like the kind of person most people wouldn't want to mess with. His usual mode of transportation is hitchhiking, and he never stays in one place for long. After spending most of his life in the army, Jack likes to change places frequently. He was part of the military police, and though now retired, his training never leaves him. Having attained the rank of major and earned many medals, Jack leaves after the army downsizes and discharges him. He is known usually only by his last name...
