Chapter 16 Summary

They drive for five miles while big raindrops begin to fall on the windshield. He stops at a mesa and has Alice park her car in the twelve o`clock position. He positions her at the eight o`clock position with a rifle, in a shielded position. He tells her that her job will be to fire one shot only, and then leave her position and hide at about seven o`clock until he calls her. Reacher loads several rifles with different ammunition and places them in staggered positions on the clock in his head. Then they wait for the assassins to come.
