Book 3 Dust Fall - Chapter 4 Summary

Lessa wakens from a nightmare that diminishes upon waking. She calls out for F'lar while fighting vague fears. When F'lar steps into the room, he asks what's gotten into Ramoth. The dragon is echoing the nightmare Lessa can't recall. Conversation moves to the fast-growing hatchlings and the measures being taken to be sure that bored riders do not pop in and out between times by accident. Lessa says, "You know F'lar, if I discovered it, someone else must have, and someone else may. If they haven't already." (P. 191). F'lar determines that it has to be inherent dragon ability or they wouldn't be able to do it. Lessa feels this ability plays a crucial part in things to come.
