Summary

The next day, César says that he has a friend who moved to Boston and who might be able to get him a job there. César says that he and Ana should relocate to Boston so they can live away from Juan. Ana realizes that this plan might ruin the original plan of Ana helping to bring her family to the United States. However, Ana agrees to César’s plan. A few days later, Juan arrives back in New York City. Before Juan’s arrival, César leaves for Boston, apparently planning on sending for Ana later.
