Summary

After Meredith’s presentation, Lewyn told Sanders that based on the weeks or months that it would have taken to prepare a presentation like the one that Meredith had just given, he estimated that she had already known well in advance that she was going to be chosen for the vice-president position.

When Sanders and Lewyn investigated the Twinkle drives they had received from Malaysia, they found many components that were not up to specifications. Lewyn again complained about Meredith’s appointment. He said he was unhappy with a world where a person got hired based on gender rather than ability. He believed the problems with the Twinkle drive were the result of hiring incompetent people.
