Greg's House

Greg's house is on Upper Surrey Street. Greg lives with his mom, dad, older brother Rodrick, and younger brother Manny. Despite Greg's warmth and comfort in the house, he is frequently made to play out in the snowy streets by his parents. Greg's mom is relatively strict about the rules inside the house, such as restricting electronics during the weekends. Greg is trusted to be at home alone after school each weekday.

Upper Surrey Street is the portion of Surrey Street that is on a hill. The neighborhood includes both Greg's house and his friend Rowley's house. Despite the many different kids from Greg's school who also live on Upper Surrey Street, Greg finds many of them to be weird and with whom it is impossible to be friends.
