Summary

Greg’s next diary entry is for the next Sunday. Greg’s family — his two siblings plus his mom and his dad — go around the town looking for their lost pet pig. Greg suspects that the pig has run away from home out of spite. The family had recently gone on a vacation, during which the pig was forced to stay in a kennel. Upon the family’s return, the pig was so resentful of staying in the kennel that it frequently disobeyed just to spite the family. The family then sent the pig to obedience school, where it quickly ran away. Greg also describes how a weighted blanket, gifted by his aunt, was so desired by all three brothers that their mother had to make an hour-by-hour calendar which dictated who could use it.
