Greg Heffley

Greg Heffley is the main character and narrator of the novel “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth”. Greg is the son of Frank and Susan, is the younger brother of Rodrick, and the older brother of Manny. Greg’s summer vacation has just begun as the novel opens, and Greg is looking forward to having no schedule, relaxing, and spending his days in the air conditioning of his living room. However, Greg is stunned when his mom announces they are going on a road trip. Greg is further annoyed when he must pick up much of the slack, from having to sit in the very back with all of the family’s luggage and belongings, to dealing with Manny’s new pet pig.
