Summary

Olivia has been on top of Manfred's roof ever since they left the restaurant (Chapter 34). She has seen the tigers roaming around and like Fiji, she cannot tell which one is which. She has seen Bertha’s arrival and the tiger attack on her. Olivia thinks that at least Bertha’s death was quick. She thinks that the tiger will dispose of the body, but it does not. Instead another comes and tells the younger tiger that it should not eat people. Then she goes to Manfred’s house, makes him happy by telling him that the tigers are gone and tells him that Bertha’s remains are a mess. Lewis is still there and when he sees her he says that they are all crazy. Lewis can never answer the question as to why he is there and he leaves when Olivia...
