I was Aglow through Cause and Effect Summary

In the section, "I Was Aglow," Kristina accepts a second dose of Ecstasy, then also snorts some crank. She writes that although she should have been afraid of the drug combination, the Ecstasy had taken away all of her fear. In the section, "Unforgettable Birthdays," Kristina writes that her seventeenth birthday was unforgettable because it was the first time she had willing had sex with a man, and the first time she had mainlined drugs, or taken them by injection. Kristina writes she felt like dancing until dawn in the section, "Elevation."
