Summary

Chapter 22 begins with the narration of “Episode 6: What’s the Deal with Gretchen?”. Trina described Gretchen as being fantastically rich and indicated she had tripled her fortune since she inherited money from her parents. When Gretchen was 23, she learned that her grandmother, whom she had never met, changed her will, disinheriting Gretchen. Gretchen visited her grandmother and had video cameras set up in the house by her staff during the visit. Gretchen released the resulting video unedited to the media. It proved that Gretchen’s grandmother was not in a sound mental state. The new will was nullified.

When Gretchen inherited what was left of her grandmother’s estate, she began rebuilding that fortune and decided to invest in football. Trina told of a man who blew the whistle on Gretchen’s football club when he noticed some irregularities in the financing. That...
