Knockglen

Knockglen is a small town in Ireland accessible to Dublin by bus. Benny is embarrassed by it, but her friends teach her to appreciate it.

St. Mary's Convent and School

Mother Francis is the head nun at St. Mary's convent and Catholic school. Benny and Eve go to school there, and Eve is raised there.

University in Dublin

The university at Dublin is where Benny goes after St. Mary's. Eve later goes, and this is where they meet their friends.

Lisbeg

Lisbeg is where the Hogan family lives. Annabel plans to sell Lisbeg to boost the men's clothing shop.

Hogan's Outfitters

Eddie owns a men's clothing store called Hogan's Outfitters. He, Sean and Mike work there until Eddie's death. Annabel takes over the store.

Eve's Cottage

Eve's mother got a cottage after being disowned. Eve inherits it. She does not like it at first, but eventually she grows to like it. Parties, Nan's affairs and Nan's fall happen there.
