Kylie is a chameleon, a supernatural being who can take on the traits of any other supernatural being, such as a witch, vampire, or fae. Kylie is also a protector, which means when she feels someone is in trouble, she develops great strength and courage so that she can fight to save them. Kylie did not know these things about herself until she was in her late teens and went to a camp where other supernaturals were open about their nature.

Kylie has recently met her father’s biological family and learned from them some of the truths about her species that she could not learn elsewhere.
