Summary

In Chapter 11, Corinna took Kitty to Stratosphere, a church that allowed visitors by invitation only. They were guests of Helen Mok-Asprey. Corinna took Kitty to meet Helen, who was wrapping up several huge chunks of cake and putting it in her purse. Kitty impressed Helen until Eddie destroyed any progress that had been made by announcing that Katherine was really Kitty Pong, the woman who had broken Alistair’s heart. Kitty was hurt because she had only been acting the way that Corinna instructed her to. She hoped Corinna would come to her defense, but she did not.
