Chapter Seven Summary

Feeling relaxed Cam goes downstairs and finds Seth playing video games with Jake. He interrupts them, and asks Seth to come with him. Jake wants to join them, but Cam asks him not to. Once Jake is sure that his father isn't angry with Seth, he is content to remain behind, especially with the promise of a battle royal when his father returns. Cam and Seth head out on the day boat and for a while just enjoy the peace of the water. Finally, they slow and Cam stretches out, opening a beer. He asks Seth what's wrong, and Seth gives him all the usual excuses. Cam tells him he can't go back with a lame story like that because Anna would never believe it.
